GROUP

Group is a short film i have been working on for two years. it is my senior thesis film at the university of arizona's (fine arts) film and television program. group is about a girl who comes to her first day in group therapy only to get the signature she needs to prove she attended--but of course, things quickly fall apart. 

The aim of the film is to draw attention to group therapy as a positive experience, and one that can help people.

My focus with the visual strategy of the film was to create a fun, welcoming color scheme of turquoise and yellow/orange, with pinks and other pastel or primary colors popping in to create a colorful experience. 

Our choices regarding lighting were to make most lighting soft and motivated by daylight and natural lighting in the frame.
